Poznań University of Technology is one of the largest and most recognizable technical universities in Poland, with over 100 years of tradition in educating engineers and conducting scientific research. Its history dates back to 1919, and today the university has over 15,000 students enrolled in 9 faculties covering key areas of modern engineering, technology, and science. The academic staff consists of several thousand employees, including hundreds of experienced scientists and experts carrying out research projects in cooperation with industry and foreign partners. Poznań University of Technology has modern laboratory and research infrastructure, carries out dozens of international projects, and actively participates in mobility programs such as Erasmus+. Thanks to this, the university effectively combines a solid academic foundation with practical preparation of graduates for work in the dynamically changing world of technology and innovation.
Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP specializes in the automation of production lines and the development of industrial applications using robots, the implementation of new technologies, automation systems in various sectors. The Institute is a world leader in the field of mobile robots for special applications, used in security, crisis management and civil protection.
The Institute cooperates with international scientific and research institutions. The Industry Contact Point Industry 4.0 promotes participation in the Horizon Europe program, offering specialized training and workshops and helping in the selection of financing and partnership opportunities. Its activities focus on automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, photonics, cloud computing, 5G, cybersecurity, AR and VR.
The conference “Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Robotics” will focus on modern methods of perception, artificial intelligence, and the robotization of autonomous systems, with particular emphasis on their practical applications in industry, services, security, and mobile systems. Presentations will showcase current directions in the development of next-generation robotics, decision-support techniques, sensory data analysis, and the integration of AI methods with autonomous and semi-autonomous systems.
A key element of the conference will be the presentation of the PIAST AI Factory concept, including its current stage of implementation, the planned portfolio of services, and opportunities for collaboration and access to computational resources for both the scientific community and industry.
Discussions will also address industrial and commercial deployments, including collaborative robots, inspection systems, solutions designed for operation in challenging and hazardous environments, as well as technologies developed and utilized by technology startups.
The conference aims to provide both a scientific and research perspective and practical insights into the implementation of modern autonomous, robotic, and artificial intelligence-based technologies.
