Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieciowe (PCSS), affiliated with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, is the main organizer of the conference and one of the most important research and development institutions in Poland. For over thirty years, the Center has been connecting the world of advanced science with the needs of a modern economy, serving as a key node of the European Research Area and the operator of strategic e-infrastructure, including the PIONIER national broadband network and the High Performance Computing Center.
As a leader in digital transformation, PSNC is currently setting the directions for the development of quantum technologies. Within the strategic PIAST-Q initiative, the institution develops groundbreaking algorithms and prototypes that are set to revolutionize cybersecurity and advanced data analysis. The priority of these activities is to build technological sovereignty based on secure, Polish solutions that are becoming the foundation of Europe’s digital future.
The development of quantum innovations at PSNC is based on robust technological facilities, including the Polish Artificial Intelligence factory (Piast-AI) and advanced laboratories. Thanks to the experience gained in nearly 400 international projects, the Center successfully supports the process of prototyping and technology transfer, delivering ready-made solutions for industry, science, and society at every stage of their implementation.
Poznań University of Technology is one of the largest and most recognizable technical universities in Poland, with over 100 years of tradition in educating engineers and conducting scientific research. Its history dates back to 1919, and today the university has over 15,000 students enrolled in 9 faculties covering key areas of modern engineering, technology, and science. The academic staff consists of several thousand employees, including hundreds of experienced scientists and experts carrying out research projects in cooperation with industry and foreign partners. Poznań University of Technology has modern laboratory and research infrastructure, carries out dozens of international projects, and actively participates in mobility programs such as Erasmus+. Thanks to this, the university effectively combines a solid academic foundation with practical preparation of graduates for work in the dynamically changing world of technology and innovation.
The “Quantum Technologies” conference is a substantive platform dedicated to the most important directions in the development of quantum engineering. The event provides a space for exchanging knowledge and experiences among the scientific community, engineers, and representatives of the technology sector.
The conference program comprehensively covers the key branches of this field and is divided into three main thematic sessions:
The aim of the event is to summarize current trends and integrate the community around the development of sovereign, innovative solutions based on quantum technologies.
